Program

1 day

Exploration of the Historic Center

Morning: Arrival in Rome and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Colosseum, a symbol of the grandeur of ancient Rome. Guided tour inside the Colosseum to explore its history and architecture.

Afternoon: Tour of the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill, sites that hosted ancient Roman political, social, and religious life. Discussion about daily life in ancient Rome.

Evening: Dinner at the hotel or a traditional restaurant.

2 day

Vatican Museums and Vatican City

Morning: Visit the Vatican Museums, focusing on Greco-Roman and Renaissance artworks. Visit the Sistine Chapel.

Afternoon: Exploration of St. Peter’s Basilica and St. Peter’s Square. Discussion on the history of the Papacy and its religious significance.

Evening: Dinner at a traditional Roman restaurant and evening stroll.

3 day

Ancient Rome and the Pantheon

Morning: Visit the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Campo de’ Fiori, and the Quirinal.

Afternoon: Exploration of the Capitoline Hill, designed by Michelangelo, with panoramic views over part of the city. Visit to the Capitoline Museums.

Evening: Dinner at a traditional Roman restaurant in the Trastevere district, known for its bohemian charm, followed by a stroll through the neighborhood.

4 giorno

Practical Application of Knowledge

Morning: Participation in an interactive archaeological workshop or a simulated excavation to understand the work of archaeologists and the importance of their discoveries.

Afternoon: Visit to Trajan’s Market, showcasing daily life in ancient Rome. Free time to explore the historic center or go shopping.

Return home.
